Project Coolspaces 4 LIFE at HVAC EXPO 2024

March 8, 2024

PROZON The Foundation for Climate Protection as a partner of the Coolspaces 4 LIFE Project at the Warsaw HVAC Expo promoted a pioneering technology to improve the energy efficiency of public buildings using a solar-powered cooling system.

The Coolspaces 4 LIFE project is not only a revolutionary idea, but also a step towards a greener future. With commitment, together we can create new standards for improved environmental protection.

About the project:

The COOLSPACES project focuses on the development, implementation and dissemination of a pioneering technology to improve the energy efficiency of public buildings using a solar-powered cooling system applicable throughout Europe. The technology will significantly reduce carbon emissions and bring economic and environmental benefits to local communities in the form of heat management, while being an excellent climate change mitigation strategy that should be incorporated into municipal environmental improvement action plans to counter the formation of urban heat islands. The project will implement a pilot cooling plant using innovative refrigerants with a negligible greenhouse effect and photovoltaic panels as the main energy source.

COOLSPACES is a consortium of 4 European organizations from Poland and Spain, combining a wide range of technical, institutional and business expertise.

The main objective of the project is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by reducing the consumption of primary, non-renewable energy to drive the air conditioning systems that provide thermal comfort to the building.

Thank you to everyone who visited our booth and shared our passion for innovation!

Participation in the fair was subsidized by the European Union.
